Halloween 2008

HJere she is already to go trick-or-treating. We went with her friends Faith and Tommy. She kept asking me when it would be time to go. Then when we finally left the house she said it wasn't dark enough. It was 6:30 by then. We had a great time and brought an extra bag with us just in case. Mommy and daddy both came trick-or-treating this year. We had one big scare this year and the kids didn't want to go to any houses after that that had no lights on inside. Kathryn talked about it for days, about the man in the mask who scared her and she froze like an ice cube, she tells everyone.

1st Day of preschool-September 2008

Kathryn enjoys preschool. She loves telling us about her firends and remembers most of their names. Mommy goes with her one day a week and she likes to show mommy around the class and do projects with mommy.

Her first day without mommy went well and there were no tears shed. Well, atleast on Kathryn's part. Mommy was a different story.

Snow in October ? 2008

Here we are all snug as a bug in rug. It snowed and then turned to sleet this day. We let Kathryn go out for a few minutes but ti was too cold for mommy and daddy. Kathryn on the otherhand ran around like crazy enjoyign the falling snow and catching it on her tongue.

Funny Faces - Aug 25, 2008

Hello all. Here is our little comedian. She loves making funny faces for the camera. I thought I would share them with you all.

Kathryn is doing great. She is now potty trained and will be starting preschool in 2 weeks. She will be going 3 days a week and the other 2 days she will be going to work with mommy for an hour each day and running errands. Busy schedule.

In December, Kathryn will be expecting a new baby sister. She's excited about it and can't wait to hold little Erin. We've been going through all of her baby things and she likes hearing stories of when she was a baby.

June 2008

The princess pictures were taken on June 14th. Kathryn wore her princess dress for her 3 year pictures. We had other pictures done too in a regular dress but the princess theme was extra. The pictures on the bottom are from June 16th. I just love it when she smiles. She was so excited that we were going to play frisbee and go on her swing in the backyard.

Mommy's Birthday - June 6, 2008

Kathryn finished her cake but I think

she got most of it on her face.

Kathryn went and finished mommy's cake too.

Mommy had a great birthday and Kathryn helped her blow out the candles on the cake.

Science Museum - May 18, 2008

Kathryn loves dinosaurs so we took her to the Science Museum to see them. She said they were real big and scarey. She was scared at first and then wanted to see more. We all had a great time together.

Our Little Princess - Feb 2008

Kathryn just loves to dress up. Her favorite things to dress up as is a princess and a ballerina. She is a real girly girl sometimes. Now she's into baby dolls and playing with her doll house.

The park at the MOA - March 2008

Well this is Kathryn's first time going on a ride, and she loved it. It doesn't surprise me one bit. She got to meet Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star. It was the highlight of her day. She still asks to see them when we go to the MAll of America every weekend. We took her back to finish up some points we had and she went on the Blues Clues flying dogs and on the Wonder Pets Boat again. We also played a ball toss game. She had alot of fun and so did daddy and mommy.

We went ahead and bought an annual pass for the Aquarium at the Mall of America. Kathryn just loves it so much and it has become a weekly thing with us. Kathryn talks an awful lot about Sharky the Mascot for the Aquarium. She seeks him out in the Mall so we can say hi. He once walks her down almost a whole corridor. It was real cute with them holding hands. There is just so much to see at the Aquirium here because they have a section on wildlife before you get to the aquarium part. Definately a must see when you come to Minnesota.
